Scholarships
Each year the School of Computing awards scholarships to
students who will be attending Armstrong Atlantic State University and
majoring in Computer Science. The scholarships that are available are
listed below. We thank all of our supporters for their extraordinary
generosity.
- We award CSEMS / NSF grants for talented and needy students. This project aims to change the lives of 50 talented and needy students by giving them the opportunity to pursue their educational dreams in the field of computer science or information technology at Armstrong Atlantic State University.

We award a Freshman Scholarship. We award this scholarship from the
Jesse Shearouse Scholarship Fund.

We award the Lancy C. Jen Scholarship
available to outstanding students with a financial need.
Past Recipients -
We award the Karla Alwan Scholarship. The
Computer Science faculty choose an outstanding student to receive this award.
This scholarship is awarded from the Karla Alwan Computer Science
Fund. Thanks to Melanie Buchheit for her generous support of this
fund.
Past Recipients -
We award the Jesse Shearouse Scholarship. We award this scholarship
from the Jesse Shearouse Scholarship Fund. The Computer Science faculty
choose an outstanding student to receive this award.
